Larry J. Bowe, Jr.
President
Mr. Larry Bowe is a 12-year veteran of the security industry. Prior to joining PureTech Systems, he held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Verint Video Solutions and Director of Global Solutions at Honeywell Homes and Buildings Controls. He also developed and managed the development of mission critical avionics systems at Honeywell for 14 years. He brings a wealth of understanding of software technologies, the security market and its competitors. Larry holds a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Eric Olson
Director Product Management
Eric Olson has been responsible for the hands-on management of the company’s products since joining the company in 2006. Mr. Olson works with customers, sales, and the development department to define products, manage product releases and launch new product capabilities. Prior to joining the Company, he spent over 18 years cultivating expertise in aerospace marketing, strategy/business development, alliance/project management, quality initiatives and technical design. Mr. Olson holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa, a Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University and is a Six Sigma Black-belt specializing in sales and marketing.
Fereydoun Maali
Chief Imaging Scientist
Fereydoun Maali has over 25 years of experience in image processing and related areas. He was the president of Signal Recognition Corporation, a New York state image processing software development company from 1991 until joining PureTech in 2005. During this time he acted as consultant to many corporations including NYNEX Science & Technology, Universal Instruments, RVSI, United Technologies Norden Systems, IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Synopsys and August Technology. From 1985-1991 he was a Senior R&D Engineer at Robotic Vision Systems Long Island- New York. Previously, he was an image analyst and software engineer with Vickers plc (Joyce-Loebl Div). He has a DIC, MSc, PhD from Imperial College U.K and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and a senior member of IEEE. He has received 10 US patents in image processing and related areas.
Wade Barnes
Senior Software Architect
Wade Barnes is responsible for leading the evolution of the PureActiv architecture. With 30 years of experience in software development, his focus over the last 20 years has been in the development and integration of large distributed systems. Mr. Barnes has been a software developer, integrator, and architect at large and small organizations which include Lockheed Martin (Owego, New York), American Express Corporation (Phoenix, Arizona), and 3M Health Information Systems (Salt Lake City, Utah). He is the recipient of the 3M Technical Circle of Excellence award and the Oblad award from the University of Utah. He holds an M.S. degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and master and bachelor degrees in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah.
Kevin Campbell
Sales Manager
Kevin Campbell is a fourteen year veteran in the security industry. After studying Business Marketing at California State University, Fresno, he spent four years in the California real estate market. Prior to joining PureTech Systems, Kevin nourished his skills in the security industry as a sales manager at Surveillance Technologies, Pelco, Ultrak, Vision Systems and Cernium. Mr. Campbell now lives in Chicago and has spent four years with PureTech Systems, developing systems enterprise business. The majority of his security career has been in the field of video, video intelligence, developing channels of distribution, end-user business development, and providing enterprise Command and Control software systems to critical infrastructure.
ADVISORY BOARD
PureTech Systems Inc. utilizes a Strategic Advisory Board that is composed of experts in aviation, seaports, military, engineering, computer/video technology and business. The board meets several times a year and is designed to provide PureTech leaders strategic business and market insights to help PureTech realize the company’s vision of becoming the market leader in intelligent wide-area surveillance and perimeter protection systems.
