Regional Sales Representative

PureTech Systems is the developer of a unique software solution that helps protect critical infrastructure and lives at airports, seaports, utilities, and other facilities with expansive or geographically distributed operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly talented team offering a compelling solution into the homeland security market.

Applicant should be located west of the Mississippi, preferably in the state of AZ, CA, or TX.

Job Description

In this position the Regional Sales Representative (RSR) will:

  • promote the Company's software solution to end users, VARs, channel partners, and specifying consultants,
  • develop and execute a territorial sale plan including establishing new VAR relationships,
  • find new opportunities in targeted markets and follow them through to closure,
  • manage existing customer relationships to ensure their satisfaction, and
  • work closely with Company management and technical staff to optimize customer proposals.

 

Requirements:

  • must have a successful track record selling complex technical software or products to governments and multinational corporations,
  • must be self motivated and self directed,
  • must be comfortable presenting to senior management,
  • must have a positive outlook and perseverance beyond measure,
  • a technical degree in a computer related field would be preferred, but not required,
  • must be able to travel up to 10%,
  • experience in a sales role in the physical security market is desired, and
  • experience selling to one of the following markets is desired; petro-chem, utilities, or seaports.

Modest base salary, plus commission and an excellent benefits package.
