Airport taxiway and runways are very busy environments. It is an exercise in diligence to identify and track all types of incursions. In addition to commercial air traffic, they also have operation vehicles, emergency vehicles, business jet traffic, general aviation traffic and, often times, wildlife issues. PureActiv's intelligent camera tracking algorithms aid today's airports by detecting and identifying classes of objects, effectively ignoring the occurrence of normal commercial aircraft operations, while notifying operations personnel when a object that is not a commercial airliner enters the taxi area or runway.
