  • Next-Gen Surveillance from PureTech & Will-Burt Collaboration  | PureTech Systems

< Back Next-Gen Surveillance from PureTech & Will-Burt Collaboration Jun 18, 2024 Phoenix, Ariz - The Border Expo 2024 conference hall was abuzz with excitement as attendees flocked to witness the cutting-edge collaboration between PureTech Systems and Will-Burt. The two companies had joined forces, creating an unparalleled Modular Mobile Surveillance System, better known as M2S2, that promised to revolutionize the industry. At the heart of this technological solution was PureTech's COP (Common Operational Picture) software, seamlessly integrated with Will-Burt's Compact Elevation System (CES) with Stiletto AL telescopic mast and an extensive sensor package that included the PVP cameras and SRC radar. The Stiletto AL, a lightweight and highly accurate electro-mechanical mast, extended effortlessly to a height of 4 meters, providing an unobstructed vantage point for the high-resolution visible and thermal cameras mounted atop. As the mast extended within 2 minutes, the COP software came to life, automatically detecting, tracking, and classifying any human activity within its surroundings. The real-time data streamed directly onto large display, offering a comprehensive situational awareness. “The ability to rapidly deploy this mobile surveillance solution and adapt to variable conditions is a game-changer in border protection and critical infrastructure security alike,” said Larry Bowe, President & CEO of PureTech Systems. “The M2S2 system is a prime example of how our collaboration brings forward technological advancements that ensure superior performance and adaptability in the field," stated Barry Page, VP of Mast Sales & Programs - Americas for Will-Burt.“ While at the Border Security Expo, a live demonstration took place where the PureTech and Will-Burt teams fielded a barrage of questions, explaining the intricate details of the system's capabilities and the seamless integration that made it all possible. The diverse audience included CBP and the FAA program management, as well as the current and former agents, still supporting the broad mission in different capacities. The visitors from the UAE DoD were given an extended presentation, followed by the live demo with the M2S2. It was clear that the possibilities this technological synergy between several cutting-edge technology providers could unlock were endless and, no less important, are recognized by the current and future customers. In the end, the conference hall had become a testament to the power of innovation, where multiple industry leaders had joined forces to create solutions that left a lasting impression on all who witnessed those. • The Autonomy Software Powering National Security Solutions | PureTech Systems

< Back The Autonomy Software Powering National Security Solutions Apr 24, 2026 Four pieces of news, connected, tell one story. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), passed in July 2025, restricts federal surveillance tower funding to systems tested and federally accepted for autonomous capabilities. On April 2, 2026, the San Diego Union-Tribune published an investigative report on the next-generation autonomous surveillance towers deployed along the U.S.–Mexico border, identifying Phoenix-based PureTech Systems as the AI provider inside General Dynamics Information Technology's (GDIT) tower deployment — 203 towers, 566 miles of coverage, under a $1.8 billion federal contract. On April 16, 2026, CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott testified before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security: "We have four vendors now that have passed the autonomy test." (Hearing video, 1:23:45.) On April 22, 2026, GDIT announced that its towers received U.S. Customs and Border Protection certification — validated as meeting the autonomy requirements set by OBBBA for funding and deployment under CBP's Consolidated Tower & Surveillance Equipment (CTSE) program. PureActiv is the autonomy software driving that certified system. • Unlocking Central Monitoring's Potential | PureTech Systems

< Back Unlocking Central Monitoring's Potential Nov 14, 2023 Central Monitoring Stations have entered a new era of efficiency, driven by the power of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML)- boosted video analytics. ML involves using advanced algorithms designed to improve performance and accuracy through experience and training data. Video analytics systems start with an initial dataset comprising of examples with defined objects, actions, or events to recognize. These labeled examples encompass a wide range of scenarios, from people walking and animals to intruders entering secured areas. This initial training phase serves as the foundation upon which a system's profound understanding of video content takes shape. Once the system is equipped with this foundational knowledge, it utilizes various techniques for feature extraction from video frames, such as object shapes and motion patterns. These features serve as the building blocks for making predictions and identifying objects or actions within the video feed. The system also selects appropriate ML algorithms, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) tailored to specific use cases like object detection, tracking, or activity recognition. But here's where the magic truly unfolds: a feedback loop, comparing these predictions with the desired to measure the accuracy of its predictions. In times where discrepancies arise, it learns, adapts, and evolves. This might look like adjusting algorithm parameters, refining feature extraction methods, or incorporating new data. This constant journey of adaptation and perpetual learning leads to improved accuracy and reliability. How Do Video Analytics Really Work? Now, picture a bustling Central Monitoring Station, where video analytics systems take in and process a steady stream of un-labelled video data from diverse sources. Drawing from learned knowledge, they effortlessly provide predictions on the presence of people, vehicles, and specific behaviors within the video feed. By harnessing the power of advanced computer vision algorithms and ML, video analytics distinguish between true security threats and nuisance/false alarms with precision. Once an object of interest is autonomously detected, the auto-verification process of said object begins. Using ML as explained above, the object will be classified and tracked, while simultaneously issuing an alarm for operators to take swift action. With PureTech Systems’ PurifAI, PureTech’s patented and award-winning AI/ML-boosted video analytics seamlessly integrates with your existing infrastructure, eliminating the need for an extensive overhaul. It's as simple as adding PurifAI to the loop to instantly transform your Central Monitoring Station. Previous Next

  • Man Overboard | PureTech Systems

Man Overboard and Bridge-Jumping Detection Schedule a Demo Man Overboard events continue to be a common occurrence in the cruise industry and other related markets.
