PHOENIX, Ariz. – PureTech Systems today announced the issuance of a patent by the United States Patent Office - "US Patent 11,288,517, System And Method For Deep Learning Enhanced Object Incident Detection."
The ability to detect falling incidents is an increasing concern for cruise vessels, oil rigs, overpasses and buildings. The newly awarded patent for PureTech Systems addresses both the detection of falling incidents, as well as, overboard movements onto structures, such as cargo ships with the use of a Deep Learning neural network.
In addition to providing necessary information to ships, the newly patented system can also be applied to anywhere a fall could occur. Key features of the system include instant video validation of the event, latitude and longitude capture and reporting, object type, as well as several other components.
"PureTech Systems is excited to be able to continue to provide life-saving systems to both the cruise industry and other markets", said Larry Bowe, Jr., President of PureTech Systems. "This is another example of our ongoing pursuit to thrill our customers.”
Consistent with the company's intellectual property protection strategy, PureTech Systems continues to apply and be awarded patents for its award-winning AI Geospatial Video Analytics for electronically securing perimeters around facilities, infrastructures, and borders.
